The latest demo of Optimus shows significant progress for Tesla's humanoid robot. Tesla doesn't plan on selling just electric vehicles. For a while now, the EV maker has been developing a humanoid robot that aims to perform everyday tasks for humans.
Although the job listing has been removed or restricted by Tesla, hinting that the position may have been filled, it sheds light on the company's endeavor to implement 5G technology.
Tesla developed a prototype humanoid robot in August 2021, called Optimus. Its boss Elon Musk said at an event in October 2022, that he hoped to eventually make millions of the Optimus robots, which would carry an estimated $20,000 price tag per unit.
