KUALA LUMPUR: A 34-year-old woman, believed to be a prostitute, jumped from the first floor of a hotel in Taman Setapak Indah in a bid to escape police.
Kuala Lumpur deputy CID chief Asst Comm Nasri Mansor said the Thai national injured her right leg in the escape bid during the raid at 9.30pm on Monday (July 5) and she was sent to Hospital Kuala Lumpur for treatment. She was among seven Thai women aged between 29 and 34, detained in an operation codenamed Ops Patuh/Ops Noda conducted by KL CID, he said when met at the raid location on Monday night (July 5).
