LAHORE (Dunya News) – Lahore High Court (LHC) on Wednesday has sought a written reply from the federal government till May 26 on a plea of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) president and opposition leader in National Assembly (NA) Shehbaz Sharif against not allowing him to travel abroad.
During the hearing, the LHC’s deputy attorney has been directed to attend the proceedings.
Previously, the high court had removed objection over Shehbaz Sharif’s petition against the federal government for stopping him to travel abroad.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Federal government has filed a plea in Supreme Court to challenge the Lahore High Court (LHC) order allowing Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Shehbaz Sharif to travel abroad.
According to the contents of petition, government has argued that how the honorable judge of the LHC could allow abroad travel without issuing notices to concerned departments.
The petition asks the apex court to suspend the LHC order of May 07 and allow the government to appeal against the decision.
