DK Announces Klára Dobrev as Prime Ministerial Candidate for Opposition Primary
Opposition Democratic Coalition (DK) announced on Sunday that Klára Dobrev will be the party’s prime ministerial candidate for the opposition primary planned to take place in the autumn. The official announcement was made at an online event.
Dobrev, the wife of party leader and former Prime Minister Ferenc Gyurcsány, said she had accepted the party board’s invitation and was ready to run. She said she was ready to unite the diverse opposition against Prime Minister Viktor Orbán and was also ready to defeat the prime minister and “his utterly corrupt regime” next spring. The next government, she insisted, “must take Hungary back to the main street of history, which we call Europe”.

Hungarian Authorities Review Sinopharm Vaccine Production in Beijing
Experts of the National Institute of Pharmacy and Nutrition (OGYEI) have reviewed production of the Sinopharm Covid-19 vaccine in Beijing, department head Ferenc Lukács told MTI by phone on Saturday.
Lukacs said the experts had conducted a Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) inspection of the facility where the vaccine is made, reviewing the entire production line and obtaining the full documentation on production processes.
“Everything we wanted to see, we got to see,” he added.
Lukács said the vaccine can be stored at a temperature of between 2 and 8 degree Celsius, making safe delivery “easy to ensure”.
