More toilets for Brighton and Hove seafront

BRIGHTON and Hove is getting more seafront toilets ahead of what is expected to be a busy bank holiday weekend. Last month, beachgoers faced huge toilet queues as crowds flocked to the seaside to enjoy the easing of lockdown. Brighton and Hove City Council is installing 24 new toilets at six different seafront sites in efforts to avoid similar scenes. The locations, and nearest permanent toilets, are: Brighton • Opposite the Artist’s Quarter near the carousel. Four loos plus one separate urinal. Distance to nearest permanent loo is Shelter Hall or Dalton’s Bastion 400m • Next to the basketball court. Four loos plus one separate urinal. Nearest, Shelter Hall 200m
