The OpEx Prize Competition extends deadline to April 15

The deadline for submission of applications for the maiden edition of The OpEx Prize Competition, www.opexprize.org, has been extended to April 15.
The extension is to allow applicants who were unable to comprehensively complete their application do so and also allow for new applications.
Launched on March 3, 2021, The Opportunity Exposure (OpEx) Prize “Made for the World” Competition, is aimed at unleashing Ghana s Tech potential by unearthing and sponsoring young Ghanaian Tech Entrepreneurs or “Techpreneurs” who are using technology and have sustainable business models which could be scaled up.

The Executive Council of The Opportunity Exposure (OpEx) Prize “Made for the World”, is pleased to announce the launch of The OpEx Prize Competition on the 3rd of March 2021. It is aimed at unleashing Ghana’s Tech potential by unearthing and sponsoring young Ghanaian Tech Entrepreneurs or “Techpreneurs” who are using technology and have sustainable business models which could be scaled up.
The OpEx Prize Competition covers the Thematic Areas of Finance, Agriculture, Health and Education with the objective to give young Ghanaians between the ages of 18 – 35 years the opportunity to leverage technology for wealth creation.
According to a research by the International Data Corporation (IDC), the global information technology industry was on pace to reach US$5.2 trillion in 2020 and beyond with economies, jobs and personal lives becoming more digital and connected.
