Those without a home who have COVID or are waiting for test results can stay in a room

LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) – The Econolodge on the northside has already been acting as a temporary shelter.
But now those who are COVID positive or are awaiting test results, have a different place to go.
“And I think this year, people who again, are homeless, are more likely to have other illness that could make COVID more serious,” Associate County Administrator Jane Klekamp said.
