Columbus ISD advised parents of “multiple” students being quarantined and testing positive for COVID-19 at the high school campus Tuesday, Jan. 19.
The COVID-19 tracking for CISD showed 8 confirmed positive cases among CHS students, 0 staff with confirmed cases of coronavirus Jan. 19.
By Jan. 25, the number had risen to 23 confirmed positive students and one staff member for the high school campus.
There are 2 positive coronavirus cases among students at the junior high school campus and no positive coronavirus cases at the elementary school campus at this time.
Columbus ISD is on Code Green through Jan. 29. Code Green means all students who chose face-to-face instruction and all non-high risk staff report to school.
