Deputies from the sheriff’s office, the Florida Highway Patrol, and officers from the St. Augustine Police Department are all out as part of the operation, which started at 6 p.m. The goal of the DUI Wolf Pack is to create public awareness about the dangers of driving while under the influence. The St. Johns County Sheriff Department said since the start of this year, there’s been a 35% increase in the county DUI arrests, resulting in a 50% decrease in impaired driver-related crashes.
