A nationwide Federal Bureau of Investigation sex trafficking operation this month located 28 missing children and adolescent sex trafficking victims in Georgia.
The FBI and local law enforcement agencies found 11 child victims of sex trafficking and 27 missing or endangered children in an operation earlier this month, the agency announced Tuesday.
Over the last two weeks, multiple agencies led by the FBI, participated in “Operation Cross Country,” which took place across the country and was specifically focused on child sex trafficking. The FBI’s Atlanta operation located 19 missing children and resulted in the arrest of four traffickers.
