MPs urge FCA chief to take swift action on British Steel compensation

MPs have written to FCA chief executive Nikhil Rathi to speed up justice for British steelworkers.
The letter calls on the FCA to take action on compensation for those conned out of their pensions, as well as take a tougher line on the role of unregulated introducers.
It says the watchdog is “an organisation that follows rather than leads” and this needs to change.
The letter points out this month marks the three-year anniversary of British Steel’s ‘Time to Choose’ transfer deadline.
