Was für eine Enttäuschung: nur viel Gerede und kein neues Gerät. Das waren damals 2007 die ersten Eindrücke nach der mit Spannung erwarteten Google-Ankündigung. Gross waren die Hoffnungen, dass Google das gPhone, die Antwort auf das im selben Jahr vorgestellte iPhone, lanciert.
Aber nein. Es gab kein Smartphone.
Stattdessen gab es viel Blabla, Industriepartner, Telecomfirmen, gegenseitiges Schulterklopfen und Versprechen, gut zusammenzuarbeiten. Es war die Geburtsstunde der Open Handset Alliance und damit von Android. Dem heute weltweit erfolgreichsten Betriebssystem. Was als langweilige Business-Ankündigung begann, hat die Computerlandschaft komplett auf den Kopf gestellt und die Telecomlandschaft für immer verändert.

There is not so much to see. Apart from how Android apps are fluid. I doubt that they are native apps.
