ANDY JACKSON/Stuff The Gyde bowling team from Inglewood take part in the Taranaki Open Men s Fours bowling tournament for the first time. From left Don Gyde (skip), Don s cousin Barry Gyde, and Barry s son s, Chris and Kevin Gyde. The Gyde family bowling team has yet to hit on the winning streak in the Taranaki Open Men’s Fours tournament. The Inglewood four of father Barry, sons Chris and Kevin, and cousin Don are newcomers to the tournament which began this week on greens around the region. The 116th annual tournament has retained its reputation, in spite of the absence of Australian entries due to Covid 19, as one of the most popular national bowling competitions.
