Weather Forces St. Landry Schools To Close Early Superintendent Patrick Jenkins confirms to KPEL that the closures affect all schools and the central office. According to a release sent by the school district and a post on the district s Facebook page, the early dismissals will be staggered across the district. Students at SLATS, the alternative school, and at the trade schools will dismiss at noon. Students who ride the Opelousas High Biomed and MACA shuttle bus will dismiss at 12:30 p.m. All high schools except for North Central will dismiss students at 12:45 p.m.  North Central will shut down at 1:15 p.m.
