In the week ending January 15th 2021, a lot happened at Renaissance Technologies as its famed Medallion fund, available only to current and former partners, had one of its best years ever, surging 76 percent, according to one of its investors. But other funds that are available to outside investors didn t fare that well, two of them had their worst years ever.
