jenna, is that the jury will take a field trip of sorts once it s seated, once the trial begins, they will leave the courtroom behind me and then head downstairs into a secure garage, if you will, and that is where they will bring the van that freddie gray sustained all those injuries in so the jury can see for itself what happened. jenna: it ll be an interesting case to watch for many, many reasons. leland, thank you very much. jon: there s an incredible new detail to share on the largest burglary in english history. the surprising way prosecutors say one of the thieves traveled to the hatton garden diamond district to commit that $21 million heist. also cyber monday in full swing, but many bargain hunters went online before the big day. so does that cut into the black friday shopping action? and what are the sales really like now? we re live with an economic update. @oyu0x?hy@x@8p
course it s going to dragon i think throughout entire month of march. jon: p. jon: we will be talking about it for a while. susan, thank you. thank you. jenna: new information about on the latest hybrid cars to hit the market. it turns out they may not be as fuel-efficient as we all think. the epa is launching an investigation into the vehicle s gas mileage estimates after outside research suggests that they could be wildly inaccurate. doug mcelway is live from our washington pwraour oh covers a lot of transportation issues for us. doug, what did they find. reporter: they tested two ford hybrid vehicles, the new ford krerbgs mex hybrid wagon and the ford fusion hybrid and used real world conditions, very different than what the epa does that. like every car we test after driving 2,000 break in miles we install a precision fuel meter. we test highway fuel economy driving at a steady 65 miles an hour as well as a rigorous city economy course.
now i slowing down, let s see what he does at this intersection, looks like he s making a right-hand or northbound turn now from 195th. jon: one of the things that he s likely going to have to be concerned about is fuel burn. they don t carry, obviously, a lot of gasoline, and when you re pushing a bike at very high speeds, they burn fuel fairly quickly. and he may not be able to keep this chase up all that long. he has the 605 and 91 freeways. now he s doing a loop again. again, what he may be seeing is that there are some l.a. county sheriff patrol cars in this area. and we re having to patrol the skies up here, too, so bear with us, being that this motorcycle ois motorcyclist is driving so erratically, we have a lot of air traffic that we re dealing with. p.
compared to the three broadcast tv networks and air times and the rest of them. the wall street journal is the mainstream media. i think cable news is the mainstream media. i m hearing so-called whining about the mainstream media when the media game has shifted and we re all the mainstream media now. when i have to go to the green bay georgia tote find out wisconsin has run a budget surplus, repeat, a budget surplus for two times in a row in the state s history, that tells you the mainstream media is not covering the story correctly. it s not about whether it s a surplus or not a surplus, it s based on what he said he would or wouldn t do and how he s treating unions. that s what the recall is about. jon: if you can believe the polls alan, at least right now, people seem to like the job he s done. he may get out. op jon we ll see what comes of this election tomorrow. thank you both for examining the coverage for us both, jim pinkerton, alan coomes. jenna: was it a fatal heart
accessible. i think other things would be important in terms of providing whether they were in an industry that cut jobs and haven t come back and aren t going to come back, i think opportunity phos retraining are important as well. jen skwra epbd we look forward to hearing about more of those plans and whether or not that might be something to take a look at. dr. wilson, nice to have you, thank you very much for joining us today. thank you. op jon you might remember the iconic picture from a florida classroom on 9/11, he delivered the message to president bush, america was under attack. now ten years later, andy card looks back, as we remember that day.
