Shadow Puppets with Sean Powers Humboldt Literacy Project and Humboldt County Library invite families to a Family Literacy Party featuring storytelling musician Sean Powers in a mini-library tour in Hoopa and Eureka! Sean powers will share a Shadow Puppet show and families will have a chance to create their own shadow puppets (young children will need an adult helper). This event will be at the Kim Yerton Memorial Library in Hoopa on Thursday, August 17 at 10:30 a.m.
Family Literacy Party w/Magician/Comedian Dale Lorzo - Hoopa Using refined sleight-of-hand, marvelous escapes, and masterful illusions, Lorzo delivers sparkle and comedy for the whole family. There will be 5 shows in total at different times and locations. Each show will be unique, so people attending more than one will experience new magic.
