As the activities of self-proclaimed men of God and prophets remain on the rise in Nigeria, some concerned Nigerians are worried about the true status of these acclaimed ‘men of God’. While adherents and supporters of some of the pastors believe they are as real as ‘God Himself,” others have kicked, saying they are fake and only after fame and money.

PUNCH Metro had exclusively reported on Tuesday that the Anambra State Government would arrest the 32-year-old prophet for alleged indecent conduct.
The state Police Public Relations Officer, Haruna Mohammed, confirmed the arrest on Thursday, but refused to give details.
The prophet, who is the founder of Children of Light Anointing Ministries, Nkpor, in the Idemili North Local Government Area of the state, was reportedly arrested on Wednesday.
The state Commissioner for Information and Public Enlightenment, Mr Don Adinuba, had warned the prophet against practices which he termed, ‘criminal and indecent conduct in the name of religion.’
Police in Anambra State have arrested one Prophet Onyebuchi Okocha, popularly known as ‘Onyeze Jesus’ The controversial prophet had claimed in a video message that he would raise seven corpses in mortuaries.
