A brand new Filipino restaurant has opened its doors in Montreal serving up loads of signature dishes with an updated twist making Junjun one of the first Montreal restaurants to offer modernized Filipino cuisine.
Prepare your appetites. A street food festival/night market is coming to Montreal's Old Port. The second edition of the Festival StreetFood Montréal will take over the Quai de l'Horloge between July 7 and 10. Organizers promise over 100 dishes representing popular fare from Europe, Asia, South America and Quebec.The festival announced its return on June 3 following an almost three-year hiatus. The inaugural edition of Festival StreetFood Montréal took place on rue Peel in August 2019.
Officials are pushing hard for downtown Montreal to become a destination this summer. And the neighbourhood's just-released summer program might just make it so. The plan released on May 24 includes the installation of eight public urban "oases" and the already-announced pedestrianization of some of Ville-Marie's major commercial arteries.
