Currently, in Canada, 24,367 of the 1.25-million+ people who have contracted COVID-19 have lost their lives to the virus. At the same time, Ontario has added 8,143 names to the list of the dead, and more than 477,000 confirmed cases. Also in Ontario Tuesday, the seven-day average continued to fall from the pandemic-high of 4,370 on April 17 to 3,509.
