Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland says Alberta Premier Danielle Smith's plan to withdraw the province from the CPP would be 'historic, costly, and irreversible.'
In a letter to the ministers, Freeland said the province had the right to withdraw from the CPP, but that it should be "informed by a clear understanding of the risks" of doing so.
