André, a judge of the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton, Canada, has been appointed to the Superior Court of Justice in that North American country. Our thanks to Peter Jordens for bringing this item to our attention. The appointment is effective November 11, 2012. Justice André received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of the West Indies in 1981. He received a Bachelor of Laws in 1988, a Master of Laws in 2006 and a Doctor of Philosophy in 2010 from Osgoode Hall Law School.
