Firefighters received a call at 12:28 p.m. local time (1928 GMT) on Tuesday and spent more than one hour battling flames, Ontario Fire Department Chief Ray Gayk said at a news conference later in the afternoon. The authority confirmed that the explosion was caused by a large amount of commercial fireworks stored at a home.
