Melbourne’s most famous stuffed rodent predicted an early spring during Groundhog Day festivities in front of the Porthole Cafe on Tuesday, Feb. 2.
A masked Middlemiss Mike and his large entourage joined Melbourne Independent Order of Odd Fellows chapter President JoAnn Galbraith and member John Galbraith at 8 a.m. as part of the chapter’s annual Groundhog Day celebration. Mike’s prediction for 2021 was that spring is just around the corner.
