Musician Phil Klein, a beloved Central New York performer, bandleader, composer, music educator and peace activist, died on Saturday, Dec. 26, 2020. He was 92.
As a singer and pianist, Klein recorded several albums and composed hundreds of songs, many with Syracuse jazz singer Maria DeAngelis. He also taught music to hundreds of young people at Onondaga Community College, Skaneateles Central Schools and Lake George Schools.
