New York high school football s all time career rushing leader will continue his college coaching career in Ann Arbor, Michigian as running backs coach for the Wolverines. According to an ESPN report , Mike Hart will return to Ann Arbor to join Coach Jim Harbaugh s staff. Coach Hart spent the past four seasons as the running backs coach for the Indiana Hoosiers, also a member of the Big Ten conference.
Hart s high school career is not just one of the greatest football careers in New York state history, it is one of the greatest high school careers in the country. Hart finished his career at Onondaga High School (Syracuse, NY) with three state championships. As an individual, Hart posted career numbers of 11,045 rushing yards, 204 touchdowns and 1,246 career points.
