Syracuse, NY A Syracuse University student illegally entered a dwelling and forced himself on two “physically helpless” women in August, raping one of them and touching the private parts of the other, according to an indictment.
Jacob Cohen, 19, bailed out of a jail on $200,000 bond Wednesday afternoon, following being sent there by a judge Tuesday.
Cohen, who is from Ohio, left the university after the alleged sexual assaults. But Syracuse police and prosecutors continued investigating, leading to a grand jury indictment against him, Onondaga County prosecutor Maureen Barry said.

Syracuse, N.Y. A former Syracuse University student charged with sexually assaulting two students was sent to jail on $200,000 bail after appearing Tuesday in Onondaga County Court.
Jacob Cohen, 19, appeared before Onondaga County Court Judge Thomas J. Miller. After the court appearance, Cohen was sent to the Onondaga County Justice Center, where he remains behind bars on $200,000 bail.
Cohen will reappear in County Court on Jan. 13.
