The agreement with Japan-based NYK LNG Ship Management covers the engines and related equipment for an LNG carrier vessel, and is designed to maximise the ship’s uptime.
Europe’s largest LNG terminal in Kent, UK, has achieved its highest utilisation record and continued its international reach with the arrival of vessels from eight new countries.
The equipment will be used for an LNG-powered RoRo vessel being built by Flensburger Schiffbau-Gesellschaft for the Tasmanian-based Australian shipping company, SeaRoad.
