OnePlus launched the 9RT smartphone in China on 13th October during a launch event. The company is expected to launch the handset in this month; however, there hasn’t been any official announcement yet. A rumour from a well known tipster suggests that the OnePlus 9RT has been listed on the Google Play listing and Google Supported Devices list with a different name.
The OnePlus 9RT is currently available on pre-order in China and the sales will begin from 19th October. The handset is priced at CNY 3,300 that is roughly Rs 38,500 in Indian currency. The OnePlus 9RT is available in Silver, Blue and Black colour options and this variant runs on the ColorOS 11 which is based on Android 11.
The render showcased the smartphone in Nano Silver and Hacker Black colour options. At the first glance, the smartphones in the renders seem similar to the OnePlus 9 series and the OnePlus Nord 2, there is no such difference in the design.
Popular tipster Mukul Sharma (aka @stufflisting) has shared a post revealing that the OnePlus 9 RT will arrive with a 7GB RAM expansion which seems to be interesting. Along with the tweet he has also shared an official poster that refers to the same information and the teaser poster looks legit.
