Data from Global Wireless Solutions shows daily users on Parler nearly doubled following the Capitol riots. Users of the social media application, which eschews moderation, were more likely to be Caucasian, over 45, and upper middle class, according to GWS. After the election, Parler users prioritized the NewsMax app over the FoxNews app, GWS said Oklahoma, Wyoming, and West Virginia had the most Parler users relative to their population, according to new data from the firm Global Wireless Solutions (GWS). Parler, the social media network embraced by conservatives for its eschewing of the moderation found on Facebook or Twitter, has been continually implicated in the attack on the Capitol, as a platform on which some users planned their deadly siege. GPS data shows hundreds of Parler users were involved in the attack on the Capitol last week.
