ASSAM RIFLES ORGANISES DISTRIBUTION OF MASKS AND ESSENTIALS Dec 22: Assam Rifles under the aegis of Headquarters 21 Sector Assam Rifles and Inspector General Assam Rifles (East) organised distribution of masks and essentials to the locals at Radhanagar, Kumarghat , today .  The events encompassed a small speech  on  the safety and precautionary measures to be undertaken during the Covid 19 pandemic and distribution of masks and essentials for the locals of Radhanagar, Tripura which was attended by 45 locals .The events were aimed to create awareness amongst locals against Covid 19 and all the precautions to be undertaken in order to safeguard themselves against such a pandemic disease . The event witnessed a decent participation of the locals and was appreciated by the local population and village authorities. The event was organised to follow all safety protocols against Covid 19 .

Woman kills herself due to family dispute Dec 22: In a tragic incident a 25 years old housewife committed suicide by hanging herself due to family dispute. The incident took place in Gopalnagar area of ​​Ward 3 of Bhagwan Nagar Panchayat in Kailashahar. Receiving the information Koilasahar Women Police rushed to the spot to recovered the body  and sent it to  Unkoti District Hospital for autopsy.The deceased identified as Rokia Begum(25) wife of Jamshed Ali. An innocent youth was beaten to death Dec 21: A mob lynched a daily wage worker in Agartala suspecting him to be a thief.The deceased has been identified as Prasenjit Saha, a resident of Agartala.Prasenjit Saha’s family members have lodged a case with the police on Monday.The victim’s wife told the reporters on Monday that Prasenjit, who was a welding worker, went out of the house on Friday morning for work.She said as Prasenjit did not return home on Friday night, they started searching for on Saturday in different probable places but failed to gather any information regarding his whereabouts.
