It s taken Soul Survivor nine years to return to this pioneering concept of giving young grassroots worship composers the chance to have their best songs recorded with top quality worship leaders but I for one am glad they have. Production on Volume 3 is handled by Ben Cantelon and Paul Evans and among the standouts is Phil Shaw s My Soul Is Complete , sung by Matt Redman; Chris Sayburn s You re Alive voiced by Tim Hughes; and Ian Yates Desperate performed by Onehundredhours Tre Sheppard. Possibly though my favourite track is the mid tempo Holy Is The Lamb penned by James Rogers and sung with passion by Andreana Arganda (surely a lady soon to be graced with an album in her own right). As expected, lyrics never stray far from paraphrases of the Scripture and the arrangements are a tad generic.
