Great Southern Mining Ltd (ASX:GSN) is confident that its strategic landholdings in Tier 1 Australian gold districts have genuine potential for major gold, copper, silver and nickel discoveries.
Notably, GSN was recently granted all exploration licences at the East Laverton Nickel Project (Southern Star, Cox’s Find, Mon Ami deposits) and now has exposure to gold at all of its projects and the added benefit of copper and other metals in North Queensland (Edinburgh Park), as well as nickel-sulphide at East Laverton.
The company is now planning a 5,000 metres reverse circulation(RC) drilling for the Southern Star deposit in the Laverton district.
Great Southern Mining granted all exploration licences at East Laverton Nickel Project
According to the company, the project is highly prospective for nickel-sulphide discoveries, including of the Nova magmatic style, and which were overlooked by previous explorers. A 45-day modern ground-based MLEM survey is proposed to finding Nova scale conductors.
Great Southern Mining Ltd (ASX:GSN) has been granted all exploration licences at its 100%-owned East Laverton Nickel Project in Western Australia.
The move was facilitated by the successful negotiation of a heritage agreement with the Nyalpa Pirniku Traditional Owners.
East Laverton Project is 20 kilometres east of Laverton in Western Australia and comprises three large exploration licences that GSN applied for in 2018 that have now all been granted.
