The New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) presented a projected budget surplus of Rs 240.2 crore and a revenue of Rs 5,069.6 crore for the fiscal year 2024-25. Chairman Amit Yadav outlined a vision to make NDMC an aspirational city and global benchmark. While there s no plan to increase property tax rates, the council aims to boost revenue through property tax, targeting Rs 1,150 crore in FY 2024-25.
