Buffalo's City Council and the Johnson County Commission have both set their allocations for the One-Percent Committee recommendations for 2024.
The county commission, during their meeting Tuesday morning, voted to set their allocation at $275,000.

The Johnson County Tourism Association has opted to decline their allocation of funds from the One-Percent Committee for Fiscal Year 2023-24.

Johnson County's Commissioners, at their regular meeting Tuesday, voted to allocate funds from the Optional One-Cent Sales Tax to the One-Percent Committee to distribute to organizations not directly managed by the county, or to a joint powers board the county is a member of.

Applications will be taken until 5 p.m. on Tuesday, February 28, and can be turned in to either the Johnson County Commissioner's Office, or Buffalo City Hall.
