When Northeastern University filed plans in 2019 to build a massive dormitory at Columbus Avenue and Melnea Cass Boulevard, Kim Janey was not a fan of the proposal. Janey, then a city councilor, sent a letter to the Boston Planning & Development Agency expressing her âdeep concernâ about the project and Northeasternâs relationship with its neighbors in her Roxbury district.

BOSTON, April 13, 2021 /PRNewswire/ Acoustic, an open and independent marketing cloud and analytics provider, announced today that it is creating a new physical hub for employees in Boston.
The company has secured a July 1, 2021 start for a two-year office lease at One Lincoln in the city s Financial District. The space can accommodate 50 employees as part of Acoustic s hybrid working model.
Acoustic, which was formed as a standalone company in 2019 as a carve-out from IBM, has consistently been building a presence in Boston. Four members of the company s nine-person Executive Leadership team are Boston-based, as are the organization s sales, marketing, and finance teams:

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) One Lincoln business was burglarized of hundreds-of-dollars in vape pods.
Early morning Friday, just after 2:45, Lincoln Police were called to Lincoln Vapor, 6891 “A” St, after the company alarm began sounding. An unknown party had broken the glass on the front door.
Surveillance video later showed a male wearing dark clothes entered the store wearing a backpack. He swiped several vape pods and glass pipes before leaving.
The total loss is estimated at $500. The investigation into the burglary is still ongoing.
