ELMHURST, IL Two Elmhurst residents are among the latest arrests by the Elmhurst Police Department. Here is information from the latest police reports:
Fleeing from officer
Angelo T. Burnett, 20, of Elmhurst, was cited shortly before midnight Tuesday at Michigan and North on charges of obstructing a police officer, disobeying a traffic control signal, improper lighting and improper window tinting. He was released on bond. According to a police report, an officer stopped Burnett for having one headlight and tinted windows. When the officer detected an odor of burnt marijuana and saw marijuana roaches in plain view in the ashtray. Burnett then drove away, committing several traffic violations. He was later stopped.
