example. we are passing a bill in the state of texas that will allow people to buy beer at 10:00 a.m. on sundays. and also the republicans are passing a bill that limits the ability of churches to have souls to the polls activities before 1:00 p.m. on sunday. that makes no sense at all. they re criminalizing different stakes that are being made that have a chilling effect on persons. when you look at what the purpose of voting needs to be, and trying to make sure that everyone has the opportunity to engage and make it more convenient, yes, we have an initiative in houston. but the reality is, we should be making certain that we improve upon that. find out what the mistakes were, and make it easier for people to catch the early bus, you know, the one that is early in the morning. we should be expanding the opportunities as opposed to
