congressional democrats, the president tells the new york times he has accomplished a lot and pead some mistakes. white house correspondent mike emanuel has specifics. reporter: 20 days before the midterm election, president obama is expressing greats about his first two years and talking to his aides about an obama 2.0. in an interview for sunday s new york times magazine, the president says he allowed himself to look like the same old tax and spend liberal democrat. on stimulus, mr. obama said he realized too late, there is to such thing as shovel-reddy projects, but when selling the stimulus, that was a familiar pitch. there are already 100 shovel-ready projects approved in colorado. shovels breaking ground. shovels will soon be moving earth and trucks will be pouring concrete. reporter: experts say the taupe and tenor of interview tone and tenor of the interview is sending a
