fingerprints are there for everyone to see. they call it a broad swath through the south the bible belt for good reason. are people in texas more exposed to rhetoric like the pastors on regular basis versus a more national audience? are we more exposed to what? to the words of someone like pastor jeffers, you talk about mormonism being a cult. do you think people throughout the south, but specifically the question to you regarding texas, are folks in texas more exposed to it? well, i think so. obviously, there s a large evangelical community in the south and here in texas. it depends on what church you attend. and i think one of the reasons this makes people uncomfortable, the republican party did a very good job of making sure they had this conversation a lot of times when microphones weren t around. and they had their audience before them when they were going to have this conversation.
