A police officer has been sacked for abusing his position to start a sexual relationship with a vulnerable woman last February.
An investigation by the Police Ombudsman found the officer had “demonstrated exploitative behaviour” by establishing a relationship after calling at the woman’s home in response to a report of concern for her safety.
