As per the FIR, the victim had parked his car on the opposite side of the road in front of his office. He got down and started crossing the road towards his office when the applicant’s bike hit him.
The victim's mother, who filed the complaint, had claimed that the applicants, with whom their family had a strained relationship, forced him to watch a porn video under threat, while two members of the family allegedly touched him inappropriately and disrobed him.
The applicant's lawyer argued that as the charges are yet to be framed against him and the trial is unlikely to conclude in near future, he should be released on bail, which the court accepted.
