Indianapolis FedEx massacre: Brandon Hole s motive unknown

Not much is known as yet about the gunman’s motivation for perpetrating Thursday night’s rampage at an Indianapolis FedEx facility that resulted in eight victim fatalities and injuries to five others. According to reports,19-year-old Brandon Scott Hole had previously been employed at the facility, but whether he was fired or quit on his own and for what reason have not been revealed. And there has been no indication whether any of his victims were specifically targeted.  According to his mother, Hole fantasized about suicide-by-cop. He did take his own life inside the FedEx building, but without waiting for a shoot-out with the police.

Just ask several South Dakota restaurants who recently made it on the nationally televised food network show. Dakota News Now is reporting that all the South Dakota restaurants that made it on the popular TV show are now doing booming business thanks to the notoriety they received from being on Guy Fieri s program. The owners from the restaurants who made an appearance on the triple d’s show all said they were very proud their business was chosen to represent South Dakota on the show.

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) -Friday at 8 p.m. on the Food Network, you may recognize some familiar places. Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives will feature three South Dakota restaurants in its “South Dakota Smorgasbord” episode. South Dakota is the final state to be featured on the show. At O So Good in Garretson, it’s been Chef Omar Thornton’s dream to be on the Food Network. “It’s a network that I grew up on watching. I admire especially them being in the field, but even before then I used to watch. Probably why I ended up being in the industry business of just loving to cook,” said Thornton.

You always save the best for last, right? Guy Fieri finally crossed off South Dakota and has visited every state in the country on the Food Network’s “Diners, Drive-ins and Dives.” Three Sioux Falls area staples will be featured in the “South Dakota Smorgasbord” episode, which airs Friday. Featured restaurants include O So Good, Urban Chislic and Lalibela’s. The restaurants are each known for flavorful dishes with their own spin on traditional meals. The summary for the episodes says: “On this trip, Guy Fieri is hitting Triple-D’s 50th state as he crosses into South Dakota. In Sioux Falls, a spot takin’ a true regional specialty called chislic to the next level. Plus, real-deal dishes at the state’s first Ethiopian joint, and in Garretson, a Midwest-Southern mashup puttin’ their own stamp on comfort cooking.”
