 08 Apr 2021 - 14:16 QNA Muscat: The Omani Ministry of Health announced today that 1,320 new cases of Coronavirus (COVID-19) were recorded in the Sultanate, with 12 deaths and 920 recoveries. The total number of cases registered in the Sultanate reached 168,005 and the total number of deaths due to COVID-19 reached 1,747, while the recoveries reached 149,969 bringing the recoveries rate to 89.2 percent, the Ministry said in a statement carried by Oman News Agency (ONA). Patients who have been isolated in hospitals due to infections in the past 24 hours reached 96 cases, bringing the total to 652, while patients in the intensive care units reached 204 cases, the Ministry added.
