Fox News‘ “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” Elizondo said he believes there is physical evidence of UFOs and urged the government to be more transparent about it. When asked whether UFOs left any debris, he responded in the affirmative without elaborating.
“The United States government is in possession of exotic material and I’ll leave it at that,” Elizondo, who headed the DOD’s Advanced Aerospace Thread Identification Program (AATIP) from 2007 until its dissolution in 2012, told host Tucker Carlson.
He added that more analysis needs to be done since “there is enough uniqueness” in the recovered elements. “I’m not going to say what those elements are because I’m worried about the same type of reprisal that I’m facing,” Elizondo said. “But there are pockets of people that are willing to do the right thing.”
