By Tom Seipp, Managing Editor Last season, the St. Bonaventure men’s basketball team had zero depth for insurance behind Osun Osunniyi at the center position. Now, they have plenty, as the team has just received their fourth commitment of the early offseason. Wednesday, the Bonaventure athletics department confirmed the commitment of Oluwasegun Durosinmi, who signed his National Letter of Intent to join the team for the next four seasons. “Coach said the right things and the situation was perfect for me,” Durosinmi said. “I’m just going to come in and help the team… I’m going to help out Osun, backing him up. We were just A-10 champs, I can come in and learn from the veterans.”
College hoops world expects big things for Bonnies

By Tyler Smith, Sports Editor A magical season, one that resulted in Atlantic-10 regular season and tournament titles, ended in a disappointing loss in the NCAA tournament round of 64. For the majority of college basketball programs, especially mid-majors, those results would be things to cherish and revel in for the foreseeable future. Bona faithful will never forget the 2020-2021 season, but the Bonnies and the media have even more success in mind for 2021-2022. Outside of USA Today, most sports media outlets have ranked the St. Bonaventure Bonnies in the top 25 in their “way too early” preseason polls.
