A chieftain of the New Nigerian Peoples Party, NNPP, Olusegun Bamgbose, Esq., has questioned the morality of President Muhammadu Buhari to still remain at the Presidential Villa.
According to Bamgbose, Nigerians committed a great blunder re-electing Buhari in 2019 but those who repeated the mistake in 2019 cannot be forgiven.
The senior lawyer was reacting to one among the many sad news that cropped up in Nigeria on Tuesday which one of them was the death of two students of Greenfield varsity, Kaduna.
DAILY POST reported on Tuesday that the students were murdered in cold blood by the bandits who abducted them after keeping in custody for some days.
Olusegun Bamgbose, National Coordinator, Concerned Advocates for Good Governance, CAGG, has called on President Muhammadu Buhari to declare state of emergency in Kaduna State without further delay.
Bamgbose warned that the life of the Governor of the State, Nasir El-Rufai and his family may be in danger at this point, calling on President Muhammadu Buhari to save the State.
The senior lawyer noted that the spate of insecurity in Kaduna is fast becoming intractable, recalling the killing of students of Greenfield University and many others, including the 65 people from Adada abducted with no trace yet.
“The abducted students from School of forestry are yet to be released. It’s now becoming a daily affair. In a matter of months, Kaduna can be overrun by bandits,” he said in a statement to DAILY POST on Monday.
Olusegun Bamgbose, chieftain of the New Nigerian Peoples Party, NNPP, has called on Nigerians, young and old, to apologise to former president, Goodluck Jonathan.
According to him, it was now very obvious that Nigerians in 2015 and 2019 took a decision that its dire consequences may live with them for a very long time.
“In 2015 we ignorantly kicked out Jonathan, believing that he is our problem. We replaced him with Buhari, former Head of State, a retired Major General,” he told DAILY POST on Thursday speaking about the spate of insecurity and increasing tension in the country.
“Most Nigerians, me included, wrongly thought that as a retired Major General, the issue of insecurity will be decisively tackled, but realities on ground now have shown that we were wrong and we are guilty of committing a great blunder by enthroning Buhari,” he added.

The Director, Army Public Relations, Brig.-Gen. Mohammed Yerima, made this known in a statement on Monday
Yerima said the troops, who were stationed at Dikwa and Gulumba Gana, supported by the Air Component, engaged the terrorists who mounted on 12 gun trucks in their numbers.
He said the attack took place just as the locals were preparing to break their Ramadan fast for the day.
According to him, the troops having contained the initial wave of the attack had to occupy their alternative Headquarters at Gulumba Gana to enable the Air Component engage any gun trucks and other technicals in the vicinity of the attack to prevent fratricide.
Olusegun Bamgbose, Esq., chieftain of the New Nigerian Peoples Party, NNPP, has said the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari has been infiltrated by terrorists.
The senior lawyer claimed that unknown to many, “the Buhari administration has been infiltrated,” and there are moles in the administration who are secretly working for some interests outside this country.
“It has always been like that since Jonathan took over from Musa Yar’adua. Late Musa Yar’adua was one person who vehemently opposed the issue of infiltration and his government was short-lived,” he told DAILY POST on Monday.
“In 2011 or thereabouts I warned Jonathan that suicide bombings were coming, he never believed it but not quite long Boko Haram started suicide bombings.
