Murder accused remanded Article by Murder accused Danny Lamar Husbands has been remanded into custody at St Ann’s Fort. The 36-year-old, of Block 15H Ferniehurst, Black Rock, St Michael appeared before the Oistins Magistrates’ Court today accused of murdering Oluremi Young on September 4, 2020, at the Oistins Bay Garden. He was not required to plead to the indictable charge before Acting Magistrate Jared Richards and was remanded until April 1 by consent. Husbands was represented by attorney-at-law Angella Mitchell-Gittens when the matter came up for hearing this morning. Station Sergeant Peter Barrow was the prosecutor. He is expected to appear before Chief Magistrate Ian Weekes on Wednesday at the District ‘D’ Magistrates’ Court, Cane Garden, St Thomas, according to a statement from police. (PR)
