The 2nd Session of the 13th Synod of the Diocese of Remo (Anglican Communion) has ended with an appeal to Federal Government to address the issue of kidnapping, banditry and insurgency, so that Nigerians can sleep with their two eyes closed. The Synod, which held at St. Barnabas’ Anglican Church, Ilisan Remo, Ikenne Local Council of Ogun State, themed: “Speak, Lord, For Your Servant Hears” and taken from 1 Samuel 3:9, was presided over by Bishop of the Diocese of Remo and Archbishop, Ecclesiastical Province of Lagos, Most Rev. (Dr.) Michael Olusina Fape and assisted by the Chancellor, Mr. Lanre Ogunlesi and other Diocesan dignitaries. Bishop of the Diocese of Pankshin, Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion), Rt. Rev (Dr.) Olumuyiwa Odejide Ajayi, was the guest preacher and Bible Study leader at the Synod.
