The national chairman of the Labour Party, Julius Abure, has been arrested by the police in Benin City, the Edo State capital. A video showing how Abure was arrested by some armed police officers emerged on the internet Wednesday afternoon. Videos and pictures of the incident were uploaded on X by @PIDOMNIGERIA (99% OPPRESSED). The Nigeria Police Force has confirmed the arrest of the Labour Party’s National Chairman, Julius Abure, along with four others.
